Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Node.JS Software Engineer for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Healthcare Services clients in Jacksonville, FL.
Responsibilities :
Responsible for the detailed design, documentation, development, unit testing and maintenance of internally developed applications for company business partners.
Your SCRUM team responds to business partner needs, expectations, and challenges that are identified
Working on a top priority migration of Availity's customer implementation application to the cloud (AWS)
Restructuring PERL scripts into newer technology (Node.js)
90% Backend work (Node.js)/10% Frontend (React)
The work on this team will be innovative and greenfield development
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in relevant work experience
4 - 6 years of progressive work experience designing business processes, process mapping, working on process improvement initiatives, and business applications system design
Experience integrating both in house developed software and externally purchased software for large applications
Backend Node.js development experience
Experience with React or other modern JavaScript languages is a plus
Experience with AWS is a plus
Experience with data modeling, relational databases, data structures and design a plus
Experience working with Product and Business Management teams a plus
Experience working in an entrepreneurial company a plus
Must be flexible and embrace change
