Product Owner - RF-SMART for Oracle SCM Cloud US East Office (Jacksonville, FL) or US West Office (Highlands Ranch, CO) We Exist to Transform our Customers and Change Lives Summary: The Product Owner takes prioritized requirements and defines how those new features should functionally operate in order provide an optimal mobile user experience, as well as properly transact in the ERP (Oracle Cloud). To do that, the Product Owner will gather requirements, write and provide detailed user stories and acceptance criteria to Development, then review, test and ultimately approve the new feature to meet delivery timeframes and other success metrics. This role partners with a broad array of internal and external stakeholders and contributors to ensure the delivery of successful products. This is a critical and visible role in the RF-SMART Products organization. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Given a market and/or customer requirement, write clearfunctionalspecification user stories that Development will use to write code for new features
This includes defining the desired user experience and the corresponding transactional results in the ERP
Act as subject matter expert, interfacing with Product Strategy, Product Management, Business Analysts, Quality Analysts and Customers (as well as other Internal Stakeholders) to gather requirements, communicate knowledge, and resolve issues
Work with Development and Operations using agile methodology to successfully drive quality product development
Understand and/or be able to quickly determine how an ERP transacts in order to ensure that a complementary RF-SMART mobile function is designed and built to align with the ERP functionality
Manage the MDE product backlog and/or CDE priorities, grooming stories and establishing priorities
Collaborate with Development and other domain and cross-functional teams to translate the roadmap (MDE) and/or customer requirements (CDE) into releases with defined scope and levels of effort
Liaise with internal stakeholders to set expectations regarding product capabilities and delivery timelines
Schedule and lead design/skirmish sessions with Development and other stakeholders
Perform functional User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to verify that newly developed features meet the desired objectives and acceptance criteria
Manage releases to ensure successful product introduction, coordinating milestones across teams
Work with development, support, and customer operations to monitor product performance and proactively identify opportunities for product improvements
Generally, serve as the “voice of the user” as new features are designed and developed
Serve as the internal “go to person” for learning about how the ERP works, including staying on top of newly released features that are of consequence to RF-SMART
Education and Experience:
A bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent working experience
Consulting or working experience with Oracle Cloud or Oracle EBS supply chain applications (particularly Inventory and Manufacturing)
Experience working within an Agile methodology and demonstrated ability to effectively operate within an Agile team environment
A technical mindset with great attention to detail
High quality organizational and leadership skills
Ability to work well with others and resolve conflicts that may arise between different viewpoints
Ability to assess risks and dependencies and to identify mitigation strategies and set priorities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Skilled in leading meetings, setting agendas, driving decisions, and negotiating
Direct experience with Mobile Supply Chain applications is a big plus
