Salmon Companies has an immediate opening for a full-time Tire Technician in Jacksonville, FL. We're looking for a motivated, independently-working technician to go on-site to various postal facilities in the Jacksonville area to inspect and replace tires on trailers. The hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 to 3:30. Duties include:
*Mounting and dismounting heavy truck tires
*Balancing tires using a balancing machine
*Maintaining tire inventory
*Inspecting tires for wear and safety and using sound judgment to replace worn tires
*Maintaining records of tire inspections and replacements
*High school diploma or GED required, as well as experience working around heavy equipment. Additional training or certification is a plus.
