Salmon Companies has an immediate opening for a full-time Tire Technician in Jacksonville, FL. We're looking for a motivated, independently-working technician to go on-site to various postal facilities in the Jacksonville area to inspect and replace tires on trailers. The hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 to 3:30. Duties include:
Mounting and dismounting heavy truck tires
Balancing tires using a balancing machine
Maintaining tire inventory
Inspecting tires for wear and safety and using sound judgment to replace worn tires
Maintaining records of tire inspections and replacements
High school diploma or GED required, as well as experience working around heavy equipment. Additional training or certification is a plus.
