Mechanic for Heavy Equipment and Dump Trucks Needed for Marietta Sand Corporation (MSC).
Construction company is seeking a full time Mechanic to perform Repairs and Preventative Maintenance on small to medium sized heavy equipment, company vehicles, and on road dump trucks.

The MSC Mechanic must be able to:
ï¼ Schedule and safely perform all work and housekeeping per company standards.
ï¼ Demonstrate knowledge and have experience with hydraulic systems, electrical systems, diesel and gasoline engines, transmissions, drivetrains, powertrains, and general automotive systems.
ï¼ Assist with the development and adheres to the maintenance budget.
ï¼ Maintain a clean and organized work area with items stored in proper locations.
ï¼ Analyze the condition of all equipment, be proactive, and plan all PMs as per manufacturers recommendations.
ï¼ Plan and perform repairs to highest standards without rework.
ï¼ Procure required parts for equipment, vehicles, and dump trucks at lowest cost for comparable OEM.
ï¼ Service equipment, vehicles, and dump trucks according to schedule and mileage as needed, at shop and project sites.
ï¼ Use cutting torches, welding machines, and shop tools as needed and fabricates special components as needed.
ï¼ Load, secure, and transport heavy equipment to and from jobsites and shop area with company owned truck and trailer as needed.
ï¼ Oversee and be responsible for facility housekeeping, grounds keeping, building, and property maintenance.
ï¼ Maintain a valid Class B CDL driver's license.
ï¼ Document all activities performed as required.
ï¼ Have Four (4) years progressively responsible mechanical maintenance skills.
