Job description
We are looking for an experienced data engineer to join our Identity and Access Management team. You will use various methods to transform raw Identity and Application data into useful data systems. For example, you'll create Identity models, mappings to/from integrated data systems, data validation algorithms, and conduct data analysis as needed. Overall, you'll strive for efficiency by aligning data systems with business goals.
To succeed in this data engineering position, you should have strong analytical skills and the ability to combine data from different sources. Data engineer skills also include familiarity with several programming languages and knowledge of data mapping methods.

Responsibilities
Analyze and organize raw data for the purposes of Identity & Access Mgmt
Build data systems and pipelines from upstream data sources to downstream OS, Applications, & DB's.
Evaluate business needs and objectives and translate those into technical solutions
Interpret trends and patterns in both incoming and outgoing data sets
Conduct complex data analysis and report on results
Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling
Build algorithms and prototypes
Combine raw information from different sources
Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability
Identify opportunities for data acquisition
Develop analytical tools and programs
Collaborate with business analysts, technical engineers, and DBA's on several projects
Requirements
Previous experience as a data engineer or in a similar role
Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques
Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Java, XML)
Hands-on experience with SQL database design
Great numerical and analytical skills
Degree in Computer related field OR Equivalent Experience
Data engineering certification is a plus
Role 2:
Sr Enterprise Data modeler on EDP

Job Description
We currently have a need for a Sr Enterprise Data Modeler (true enterprise data modeler expertise, not a general developer or data person), and wanted to see if you would be interested in providing some profiles/resumes to fill that need. This candidate would need to be working our regular business hours (ET).
Specific Responsibilities include:
Be a subject matter expert for all data modeling activities, including the development of terms and definitions and developing the source to target mapping and transformation rules
Strong analytical skills with ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate information with the attention to detail and accuracy
Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with both internal and external team members of various experience levels
Be a member of the data governance/management team to produce conceptual, logical and physical modeling artifacts to support business needs
Strong inter-personal skills and ability to work as part of a team
A self-starter who takes ownership of the assignment workstream, ability to work independently
Ability to adapt and be effective in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a Senior/Lead Data Modeler or Senior Data Architect
Experience in understanding and translating business needs into enterprise conceptual and logical data models supporting long term initiatives
Knowledgeable in data model patterns and abstraction techniques
Expertise in data modeling principles/methods including conceptual, logical & physical Data Models designed with analytical use-cases in mind

Data Modeler

Long Term Contract
Responsibilities
Run monthly close process – Predominately Microsoft Access database queries, reports, macros
Troubleshoot issues, make & test updates based on business requirements
Document processes, create SOPs & Runbook
Responds to new asks / requests, dig into databases to determine where to find data
Create Process mapping & data flow diagrams
Data Reconciliation between SQL databases
Additional analyst tasks as required
Technical Skills (Must Have)

MS SQL - 5+ years
SSMS familiarity
