Auburndale Company is seeking 3rd Shift Maintenance Tech.

Description:
Searching for a professional, self-motivated individual to fill the role Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for items outline in the Major Duties and Responsibility with the main focus being the filling department requirements. The successful candidate will have strong Mechanical and hands-on skills and will be able to work effectively within all areas of the organization under minimal supervision. Knowledge of reading blue prints is a must.
Under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures, in addition to performing grounds maintenance. All work will be done in compliance with EPA, Hazmat and OSHA safety rules and regulations.
Mechanical Background is a plus.
Requirements:
Maintaining Filling Line equipment and controls. This will include the Fillers, conveyor belts, capping equipment, labelling machines, etc. Modifications of machines to improve efficiencies will also be required.
Perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and painting repairs as necessary
Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol
Receives oral or written orders from Maintenance Supervisor and Operations Manager.
Performs work according to standard procedure and by building's operational schedule.
Clears pathways in between and surrounding buildings of debris, cardboard, or other trash.
Makes minor carpentry, electrical, mechanical and plumbing repairs.
Performs touch up and finish painting.
Replaces light bulbs.
Follows all applicable safety rules and procedures.
Reports work accomplished orally or on written work order to supervisor.
Perform other maintenance duties as requested

Monday-Friday (training on dayshift )
Pay Rate $20-25/HR
