We are looking for Field Inspectors to complete residential occupancy inspections in all of Polk and southern Lake county. These inspections are for high volume national clients with consistent volume month to month. There are 200-300 inspections in this territory per month.
The main objective of the inspection is to provide mortgage companies with information regarding the occupancy status and condition of the property. Digital photos are required to provide visual documentation of the location and condition of the home and if there are any damages. Inspections are downloaded and uploaded via computer, tablet and/or smartphone. This opportunity allows you to create your schedule based on inspection due dates.
Inspectors will complete a brief report, take digital photos of homes and upload inspection results online. You will be paid per inspection completed correctly as a 1099 independent contractor. Inspectors should be detail oriented, have a good work ethic and a positive attitude. There is a 5-10 day turnaround depending on the order.
Description:
Verify occupancy and property condition (overall and specific damages)
Take photos to support occupancy/vacancy and property condition
Attempt to make contact with occupants (certain inspection types)
Perform exterior walk-around on vacant properties
Perform interior walk-through on vacant properties
Identify and report damages to the properties
Determine and report any maintenance needs
Ensure that all photos and reports maintain a high level of quality and accuracy
Maintain clear and continuous communication with management
Only serious applicants should apply and include your city and county of residence in your response. Also include if you have experience performing these types of inspections. All work is submitted through EZ inspections and the forms are mostly pre-filled. You must be Aspen Grove certified and be able to pass a background check.
Qualified candidate will be very organized, have exceptional time management skills, be detail orientated, and possess the physical ability to drive from property to property. We are preferably looking for someone already completing these inspections and looking to add volume and density to a current route. Willing to train the right person.
