Duties
Work with project teams to understand system requirements and specifications; develop quality assurance and testing strategies; plan to ensure software quality through the projectâs life cycle; review project requirements and design specifications for quality; ensure testing requirements are documented and understood for the project; capture the design of test cases and test procedures in Quality Center; build test cases, test sets and test scripts; ensure all quality assurance and testing activities are conducted throughout the life cycle and that the results from these activities are verified; and facilitate defects tracking and problem-determination throughout the life cycle.
Required qualifications
B.S. Computer Science or equivalent analytical discipline. Publix will accept an educational equivalency evaluation prepared by a qualified credential evaluation service. Three yearsâ experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing during the software development lifecycle. Such experience to include three yearsâ experience (1) working in Windows environment to test applications, interfaces and/or vendor packages and (2) creating test sets and creating and executing test scripts.
