The Lead Developer, Integrations will be a key contributor in the development and implementation of enterprise-level data ingestion and consumption solutions to meet business needs. This position requires a highly technical, motivated lead developer who will work with analysts, architects and systems engineers to develop and unit test solutions based on the functional and technical specifications to meet quality and performance requirements.
Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and implement Data Ingestion and Data Consumption solutions that meet the functional and non-functional business requirements
  • Leads implementation efforts within area of expertise
  • Primarily work with Azure Technology stack
  • Defines options, risks and impact of changes in the business
  • Effectively work with users and stakeholders to gather and understand solution requirements
  • Establishes priorities aligned with business strategy;
  • Resolves integration issues across technology platforms
  • Manages quality of code, testing and integration of deployed solutions
  • Leads the development and revision of standards, processes and procedures in assigned area
  • Work in all aspects of development including, but not limited to, gathering requirements, development of technical components related to process scope and supporting testing and post implementation support
  • Proactively researches and recommends new applications of technology in assigned area; drives adoption within team
  • Incorporates business strategy into decision making process; mentors less experienced associates on strategies
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to other team members
  • Lead scrum teams as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of Azure Technology stack and solutions
  • Strong understanding of Software Engineering principles and best practices
  • Strong understanding of integration design patterns and architectures for ingesting data from a wide variety of sources and consumption by a wide variety of sources
  • Deliver solutions that perform optimally under varying volumes
  • Ability to adapt to new technical innovations and business processes

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or certification required
  • Must have hands-on experience in the following:
    • Azure technology stack (APIM, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Server, Azure DevOps, Azure Blob)
    • Building services, function apps, logic apps, web apps using Java, JavaScript-based technologies like NodeJS
    • Building containerized applications (Docker containers running in Azure Container Instance, Azure Kubernetes Service)
    • CI/CD using Azure DevOps for automated testing and deployment
  • Must have worked in an agile development environment (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Experience in the development and implementation of complex, high volume solutions
  • Experience ingesting data from a variety of sources and mediums including relational systems, APIs, webhooks, event streams, etc.
  • Experience applying Software Development best practices and following SDLC processes

Physical Requirements:
This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
