WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Design and develop high volume applications with the latest Java technologies
  • Write well designed, testable, quality code following clean code principles
  • Ensure designs are in line with compliance, specifications, and customer requirements
  • Manage and self-organize to accomplish their own work
  • Participate in sprint planning and estimation, breaking down user stories into pieces as needed
  • Perform unit, integration, and performance testing
  • Participate in peer level code reviews
  • Proactively identify issues and collaborate with team to solve them
  • Mentor other developers and collaborate with peers
  • Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Enablement, and Design teams to assist with Data-related technical issues and support their Data infrastructure needs

REQUIREMENTS
  • BS degree in an associated field or other advanced certification along with equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience with Java Development
  • Strong Knowledge of Back End Engineering – Java, Spring Boot, Micro-services, APIs
  • A problem solver with natural desire to learn new skills and work with different technologies
  • Experience working in high performing development teams using agile methodologies
  • Strong communication skills and capability of successful collaboration with cross-functional teams

ADDITIONAL
  • Depending on the position, EPAM employees may need to work at a client worksite or an EPAM office.
