Middle River Animal Hospital is seeking an entry-level part-time kennel technician for a single doctor practice with plans of expansion.
Duties May Include: Patient handling/restraint, able to lift large dogs (up to 50 lb) with assistance, basic computer skills including typing and ability to train on hospital's software, caring for hospitalized patients, client communication/education, and various other tasks to assist the veterinarian.
Other daily duties include: Dispensing medication, general upkeep including organization, sweeping, mopping, general cleaning of the premises, walking and feeding animals in the hospital.
Preferences: Speak English, accountable, responsible, respectful, self-motivated, energetic, eager to learn, reliable, team player, friendly, pays close attention to detail, shows integrity, experience with answering phones, basic computer knowledge, and possesses excellent work ethic.
Hours: Our office is open from 8:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday. A schedule would be determined at a later time.
