Experienced maintenance technician wanted for large retirement community. Minimum 4 years experience. Must have general working knowledge for one or more the following tasks:
Carpentry, Electric, light Air Conditioning (general knowledge ok but not necessary), Painting / Finishing, Plumbing, Irrigation, General Repairs and maintenance, Valid Driver's License, must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
Completes all maintenance work orders including paint, drywall, electrical, plumbing and light air conditioning (HVAC - general knowledge OK).
Completes necessary maintenance on all equipment and work areas. .
Completes all work orders within 24 hours.
Maintains all equipment to ensure safety and equipment upkeep.
Maintains common areas for safety and appearance.
Ensures resident satisfaction when working near or around residents.
Adheres to specific safety guidelines set by OSHA and attends monthly safety meetings provided by employer.
Maintains a positive customer relations attitude.
When required, carries emergency cell phone and responds to all emergency calls in a timely manner and if necessary, in person.
Completes all other projects or requests as directed by Supervisor.
Able to lift/carry supplies or equipment of 50 lbs or more with frequent reaching, stooping, bending and kneeling. Extensive walking and standing.
