Position Summary:
The Payroll Assistant will support our accounting and HR departments by accurately processing payroll, maintaining employee records, and assisting with administrative tasks related to compensation This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organization, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Process weekly payroll for all contractors.
Verify trip logs worked for accuracy.
Handle payroll adjustments, deductions, and reimbursements.
Maintain and update contractor records in the payroll system.
Generate payroll reports
Requirements:
1+ year of experience in payroll preferred, but we will train the right candidate
Strong Excel and data-entry skills.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Experience in the transportation or logistics industry is a plus.
