RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Scrum Master/Project Manager in Miramar, Florida (FL).
Responsibilities include:
Scrum Master/Project Manager coordinates the entire IT project lifecycle, including development of scope, business requirements, function and technical specifications, testing, implementation, and deployment
Collaborates with all areas of the organization and has strong working knowledge of initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing of technology projects
Ensures appropriate software development procedures and processes are followed
Creates, develops, and manages the project scope and schedule for simple to complex projects
Plans and assigns resources to associated tasks and deliverables as appropriate
Manages resources and tasks based on project plan
Scrum Master builds and maintains project documentation (reporting, meeting minutes, etc.) for simple to complex projects
Evaluates and reports progress in terms of quality and performance metrics
Explains difficult concepts and issues, and persuades others to adopt a point of view
Anticipates and communicates ramifications of decisions and issues to project stakeholders
Leads, encourages, and motivates team members
As a Scrum Master, this role identifies, tracks, and resolve issues/concerns related to projects, escalating as appropriate
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related
PMP, Project Management Professional, preferred or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or Certified Product Owner (CSPO), preferred
5+ years of experience in an application of IT Projects
Ability to multi-task and remain flexible when priorities or work direction change
Ability to utilize Jira, Smartsheet's, and Microsoft Project
Ability to build strong interdepartmental relationships that ensure the successful delivery of software lifecycles
Ability to organize work for timely completion
Ability to follow and communicate complex oral and written instructions
Ability to lead, influence, and motivate others in cross-disciplinary, virtual, integrated teams in a collaborative fashion
Ability to take calculated risks and challenge current practices to develop and deliver innovative solutions to meet or exceed the customer expectations
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requests and provide excellent viable solutions
Knowledge that demonstrates a history of taking accountability for own work and results, including confronting tough issues and situations
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Ability to commute with personal transportation
