We're hiring dedicated Registered Nurses for a desirable 12 hour OVERNIGHT SHIFT on Sunday, 7 : 00 pm to 7 : 00 am -or- 8 : 00pm to 8 : 00 am for a long term home care assignment caring for a disabled young adult in a loving home environment.
If you have experience with Tracheotomy / Ventilators, and you enjoy home care where you can provide direct patient care to one patient versus another acute care settings this may be the right opportunity for you.
Qualified applicant will be willing to learn sign language.

Responsibilities
Participate in the planning and coordination of total patient care in conjunction with the RN and the physician's plan of care, and follow the nursing care plan for each patient
Accurately report and record the patient's condition and care, including signs and symptoms which may be indicative of change
Prepare clinical / progress notes and summaries
Assist the patient with the activities of daily living while teaching appropriate self-care techniques
Provides and maintains a safe environment for the patient
Assist the physician and Registered Nurse in complex nursing situations
Follow universal precautions whenever giving any aspect of patient care
Follow emergency procedures in the event of any catastrophic event, incident, e.g., accident, injury or significant change in the patient's condition
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor’s School of Nursing, or vocational nursing
Current state license as an RN in good standing
Proof of current CPR certification
Compassionate, friendly demeanor
Excellent communication skills
Current driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally
At least ONE year experience as an RN
Trach and G-Tube patient experience
Ventilator experience (refresher training can be provided)
