Work Hours/Shift:Part TimeYou Will Be Responsible For:
Obtain birth certificate paternity information within 48 hours of birth 98% of the time.
Responsible to complete 3 birth certificates per hour with 100% accuracy
Accurately submits completed Birth Certificates to Office of Vital Statistics within 5 days of birth
Obtains information for Healthy Start Program- Interview and screen mother 95% of the time to establish qualification to program.
Accurately complete Healthy Start form and submit to Health Department as required.
Responsible for demographics and record processing- Accurately updates baby name changes within 3 days of discharge.
Keep abreast of the state Electronic Birth Registration (EBR) changes.
QualificationsWhat You Will Need:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
One year of direct experience in birth registration or one year of general office experience in Health Information Management is required.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
Electronic Birth Registration (EBR) Certification and training required within 30 days of hire.
Required to be notary public within 90 days of hire.
