Job Title: CT Tech
Location: Ocala FL and FT. WALTON BCH, FL or many more openings in FL
Duration: Fulltime and Permanent
Shift: varies - Days w/rotating weekends, Evenings, Weekend only (Fri-Sun or Sat-Mon)

Job Summary:

• Under general supervision, operates Cat-Scan equipment, positions patients to produce diagnostic radiographs in a safe manner and performs related duties.

EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:

• Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiological Technology required

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

• ARRT registry required
• CT registry required within 12 months of hire
• State of Florida license required
• BCLS-AHA Healthcare Provider certification required upon hire

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED:

• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT concepts to include head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, MSK, CTA
• Knowledge of CT invasive procedures to include biopsy, drainages, etc. and basic knowledge about supplies used such as catheter and biopsy needles
• Knowledge of contrast administration and contraindications

General Comments
Additional Information:

• Shift times: varies - Days w/rotating weekends, Evenings, Weekend only (Fri-Sun or Sat-Mon)
• Must have experience - At this time that can't cross train, so they need someone with minimally a year or 2 of experience because they are so understaffed.
• On call? YES
• Sal range: based on years of work exp
• SIGN ON: $10k - this is paid out in their first pay check in 1 lump sum but comes with a 2 year min. contract.
• Relo: Negotiable
• Shift Diffs: between $2-$4/hr, if on the weekend only shift they get $6/hr + shift diff if they're working after 10pm (Fri/Sat/Sun) Monday they would just get shift diff.
