Church Janitor, Part Time: The janitor performs assigned cleaning on church buildings and property to maintain high standards of cleanliness of church campus. Must pass Level II background screening.
Job Description
Typical duties include (but are not limited to):
⢠Cleans the interior of the campus buildings using approved cleaning methods to clean and sanitize, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting. Interiors include kitchen and bathroom areas and windows and window blinds of each building. Maintains all horizontal surfaces free from dust and dirt.
⢠Removes trash from buildings and transports it to the dumpster. Ability to lift 50 pounds.
⢠Patrols the grounds and parking area removing debris and litter and clearing sidewalks of leaves and mulch; proactively corrects unsafe situation. Cleans entry floor mats and areas under floor mats.
⢠Arranges tables, chairs and other church furniture and property according to the office schedule and restores furniture to the default position after usage.
⢠Restocks consumable products such as soap and paper products maintaining inventory of items used.
⢠Maintains janitor closets in good order with special emphasis on safe storage of chemicals.
⢠Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
M-F 1-5pm
$10-$11- hour rate
