SAM Surveying And Mapping, LLC is seeking to fill the position of Field Technician I
Summary:
Field Technician I reports to their Supervisor and typically performs basic-level data collection and technical tasks to support assigned projects, while working with Office and other Field Staff to produce elements fitting to project requirements. This position works under close direction and regular supervision of a manager.
Requirements:
Minimal to no relevant experience required;
High school diploma or GED certification preferred;
Valid driver’s license and good driving record preferred;
Basic computer skills are preferred;
Demonstrates strong and collaborative work ethic;
Strong communication skills required
Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions:
Must have a strong level of outdoor tolerance all year long under a full range of weather conditions, including extreme weather.
Must be able to get into and out of a vehicle with no accommodations.
Must be able to walk long distances, climb steep slopes, walk up and down ladders, and carry at least 50 lbs.
Must be able to use hands to handle and feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch; push and pull objects of moderate weight. (Up to 50 lbs)
Must be able to travel to project sites up to 100% of the time for extended periods.
