G.S. Gelato & Desserts, Inc. is a manufacturer of authentic Italian gelato, sorbet, and frozen yogurt with national distribution in the foodservice and grocery/retail industries. G.S. Gelato is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance department team.
Job Duties Include, but not limited to:

Performs preventative maintenance on plant equipment and compressors
Extensive experience HVAC
Diagnose malfunctions and defects in equipment.
Operate tools, gauges and other testing equipment for refrigeration systems.
Uses hand tools and power tools in making maintenance repairs and maintaining grounds and walks.
Maintenance tasks including but not limited to welding, electrical, plumbing, and other general construction needs throughout the facility.
Requirements:
MUST HAVE 10+ YEARS FIELD EXPERIENCE, INCLUDING REFRIGERATION, WELDING, ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING & GENERAL CONSTRUCTION.
Knowledgeable about all components of refrigeration systems.
Must possess strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
Should have the ability to work both independently and in teams as needed.
Good math, communication, and basic computer skills.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, as this job may require heavy lifting, and long periods of standing or kneeling.
