Aerotek is looking for qualified Mechanical Production Workers in the Defuniak Springs area!
General Job Overview:
The ideal candidate will have some mechanical and construction experience, excellent communication skills and a high degree of mechanical aptitude. The successful applicant will be responsible for operating production line equipment, finishing products and reporting any issues with equipment directly to maintenance supervisors. All qualified, responsible applicants are encouraged to apply.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of heavy duty machines or mechanical components according to requirements and OEM sop’s
Inspect machines, engines, transmissions etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues
Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability and safe operations
Correctly and efficiently troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner
Mechanically Inclined
o Able to use hand tools
Must be able to work in areas where needed for the day
A background in mechanical work would be best
o Car/Shop Mechanic, Maintenance experience
Have a sense of safety and understand that your safety is valued and very important
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 6AM – 2:30PM (with OT)
Pay Range:
$15-$17hr
Education/Experience:
High school diploma/GED required
2+ years’ experience working with hand tools
Strong work ethic and able to multi-task
Capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted
Able to work on feet for extended periods of time
Reliable mode of transportation
Willing to work in all elements of weather
