Aerotek is looking for qualified Production Workers in the Defuniak Springs area!
General Job Overview:
The ideal candidate will have some mechanical and construction experience, excellent communication skills and a high degree of mechanical aptitude. The successful applicant will be responsible for operating production line equipment, finishing products and reporting any issues with equipment directly to maintenance supervisors. All qualified, responsible applicants are encouraged to apply.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Will be responsible for working on a forklift (will train)
Moving material
Making sure the scrap goes in the scrap pile, the bad material goes in the right pile
Understanding where and how to label material when they come into the yard
Must be able to work in areas where needed for the day
Must be able to lift close to 50lbs without assistance
Have a sense of safety and understand that your safety is valued and very important
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 6AM – 2:30PM (with OT)
Pay Range:
$15-$17hr
Education/Experience:
High school diploma/GED required
2+ years’ experience working with hand tools
Strong work ethic and able to multi-task
Capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted
Able to work on feet for extended periods of time
Reliable mode of transportation
Willing to work in all elements of weather
