Tim Smith Acura/Gary Smith Honda service department has an immediate opening for a dependable, full-time Appointment Coordinator. We are seeking a reliable candidate with excellent customer service skills who can handle the daily needs of a busy service department.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Handle inbound and outbound phone calls with customers to schedule service appointments
Determine and document customer needs/understand their reason for calling
Schedule service appointments by service advisor using ELEAD scheduling system
Place reminder calls to customers regarding pending scheduled service appointments
Place follow-up calls to customers regarding recent service visit experience
Place calls for special-order parts installation
Build strong relationships with customers and dealership employees
Maintain a high and consistent level of excellent customer service+
Back-up cashier for lunches, breaks and absences
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Previous automotive service experience preferred
Reynolds & Reynolds experience preferred
ELEAD experience preferred
Excellent attendance and punctuality is a must
Excellent customer relation skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-pace environment
Excellent team-player and ability to work well with others
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient computer skills
Valid drivers license and ability to pass drug test
Schedule Requirements:
Monday Friday 8:30 am 5:30 pm with 1 hour lunch break. Occasional overtime may be necessary.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the Service Appointment Coordinator is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to feel and handle, type, reach with arms and hands, talk and hear. The employee is regularly required to lift up to 20 lbs. The employee must be able to see color and at close and far distances.
