Experienced technician needed for the installation of wireless surveillance systems. The installation process includes mounting of camera, pointing them to the desired field of view, mounting of wireless devices and assuring proper line of sight to relay or base station. The cameras and radios are terminated into a prefabricated power control box. Must be able to make cat 6 patch cord. This is essentially a plug and play operation.
During installs the installer will be guided through the process by technicians at our NOC. Knowledge of set up of the camera and radio (including entering ip addresses) is not required but would be a significant plus.
This is a part time position. It is designed to cover work backlogs too numerous for our full time technical manager to handle. Qualified candidate would perform repairs under the supervision of the NOC. We are experiencing growth pains and are about to launch new marketing plans. This could grow to a full-time position/or consumption of a large part of your contracting portfolio.
