Window Treatment Installer
Wholesale Plantation Shutters is one of the leading window treatment companies in the Destin area. We provide custom window treatments for both residential and commercial clients. Our products include plantation shutters, blinds, drapery, shades, as well as a variety of motorized window treatments.
Immediate opening for a full time window treatment installer.
Responsibilities include:
-Interact with clients in a professional manner
-Install a variety of window treatments in a wide range of surfaces such as wood, drywall, metal and cement
-Removal and disposal of old window treatments
-Leave clients home clean, free from damage or debris
-Perform window treatment repairs
-Measuring windows
-Maintaining and organizing the warehouse
-Cleaning the work van
-Maintain and organize tools, parts and equipment
-Problem solve and effectively work with other team members on any field issues
-Turn in required paperwork
Requirements:
-Punctuality is a must! Starting the day on time as well as arriving to appointments on time. Time management is very important in this position.
-Must be well groomed and presentable in physical appearance
-Nonsmoker
-Friendly, courteous and pleasant with all types of people
-A high degree of professionalism is required. You will often be in multi million dollar homes and interacting with high end clients.
-Possess a professional work ethic demonstrated by being dependable, reliable, responsible and mature
-Ingenuity and problem solving skills are important
-Can perform physical work with no limitations or restrictions and can lift up to 50 pounds
-Must be very comfortable with ladders and heights
-Must have general knowledge and be able to operate small power tools such as drills, saws, etc.
-Can read and take accurate measurements
-Strong communication skills and works well with others
-Reliable transportation to and from work
-Provide a valid drivers license with a clean record. You will be driving a company van
-Must pass a background check
-Experience in the window treatment industry is beneficial but not required
This is a full time position, M-F 8:30-5:00. In peak season additional hours are likely to occur. We do not work on the weekends.
