Description: The candidate selected will provide support to the Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) Information Security Office (ISO) Cyber Governance team. Focus areas include: Program Environment Visibility Supply Chain Cybersecurity Cyber governance, risk and compliance Risk assessments, remediation tracking, and validations Metrics and reporting Special projects/project managementAs a member of the RMS ISO team, this individual will leverage broad understanding of IT and cyber domains to assess the security posture of various elements of RMS and determine the adequacy of current controls. The individual will lead validation efforts to ensure risks have been mitigated, compensating controls have been implemented, or residual risks are being adequately managed as part of the overall risk register. The individual will review and supports requests from the business to ensure cyber contract data protections are well defined and reasonable.Must be willing to work flexible hours and be able to travel as required. Oversee day-to-day information system security operations including data and software validations. Establishing effective working relationships with the other components of CIS, Enterprise IT, Business Area (BA) IT leadership, BA Information Security Officer (ISOs) teams, and customer Ensure the development, documentation, and presentation of security education, awareness, and training activities for users and others, as appropriate. Apply cyber security standards, directives, guidance and policies Ensure system security measures comply with applicable government policies, provide configuration management and accurately assess the impact of modifications and vulnerabilities for each system. Conduct reviews and technical inspections to identify and mitigate potential security weaknesses, and ensure that all security features applied to a system are implemented and functional.Basic Qualifications: Experience administration or engineering in one or more of the following: Cloud, Network, Linux, Unix, Microsoft Office Suite or Mobility Understanding of Security Best Practices Understanding of Network Concepts Ability to research and analyze problems based Ability to provided hands-on support and training directly to customers for Risk Management tools Demonstrated effective oral and written communicator to both management and technical staff Demonstrated team player with strong and effective customer care skills Understanding of contracts and/or program capture Experience with identification and mitigation of risk Experience performing program reviews throughout the lifecycleDesired Skills: Contract review and/or negotiations Program capture or proposal support Effective analytical and critical thinking skills – proven problem solving and follow-thru in high-pressure situations Ability to prioritize and work multiple efforts simultaneously Working knowledge of industry risk management control frameworks and best practices Familiarity with DFARS 252.204-7012 and NIST 800-171 as it relates to IT security CISA, CISM, Security+ or CISSP certificationBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
