Work Hours/Shift:
Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
You Will Be Responsible For:
Provides strategic and operational direction for all aspects of AHDI including strategy, business development, education programs and core operations.
Ensures performance in areas of team, clinical, service, market and finance.
Collaborates with AHMG Practice Director to provide leadership for programs and projects occurring with FDEC physicians and practices.
Provides oversight along with AHDI Medical Director for the evolution of AH inpatient glycemic program and journey to better inpatient glycemic outcomes in support of AHS Corporate Measures.
Collaborates with AHDI Medical Director to partner with hospital leadership on best practices in diabetes care for inpatients.
QualificationsWhat You Will Need:EDUCATION REQUIRED :
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
Experience Preferred:
Master’s degree in Business, Healthcare Management or related field
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
Minimum five years of management experience in healthcare
Business development experience
Experience Preferred:
Physician practice management
Diabetes field experience
Service line development
Process improvement
Job Summary:Provides leadership and strategic direction to the AdventHealth Diabetes Institute (AHDI). Ensures smooth operations for existing diabetes care programs and educational offerings. Collaborates with Florida Diabetes and Endocrine Clinics (FDEC), Translational Research Institute for Metabolism and Diabetes (TRI), CREATION Health, Alliance and Innovation Exchange, Population Health Services Organization (PHSO), community partners and hospital departments to maximize opportunities for improving the health of our community and lowering the cost of healthcare through the management and prevention of Diabetes. Creates new programs and offerings for patients, employers, insurance carriers and community. Partners with marketing, FDEC and AH Foundation to deliver innovative solutions to address pre-diabetes, diabetes and related education for both. Drives performance in team engagement, patient satisfaction, market share and presence, finance and clinical excellence. Holds self and team accountable. Adheres to the AdventHealth and AH Medical Group Corporate Compliance Plans and to all rules and regulations of applicable local, state, and federal agencies and regulatory bodies.
