Electro-Mechanical Field Service Technician:
Repair and maintain electro-mechanical medical equipment both in shop and in field.

CSC services, maintains, sells and installs most medical equipment in the Primary Care Market Place - IE: Private Practice / Clinics / Surgery Centers / Nursing Homes / Scientific & Research. CSC has been servicing the needs of these professionals since 1983. We have 4 facilities on the east coast Albany, NY / Hartford, CT / Miami & Orlando, FL. CSC Specializes in Sterilizers / Autoclaves / Power Exam and Surgical Equipment / EKG and Patient Monitoring Equipment. CSC has a comprehensive Preventive Maintenance Program to insure the integrity and safety of most medical equipment and any compliance requirements that our customers may have. CSC represents many manufacturers for service and warranty also.
Qualifications:
Strong Mechanical Ability! Basic knowledge of Electrical, Electronics, Plumbing, Pneumatics and Hydraulics. Will be using hand and power tools, meters, safety analyzers, etc. for safety, performance testing, troubleshooting and repair of equipment. Able to lift 125 lbs. Continuous "On The Job Training" will be provided along with some factory schools. Ability to communicate clearly and precisely, both verbally and written is mandatory. Must have clean drivers license and be able to qualify for security clearance for Federal & State Agencies. Be covid19 vaccinated.
Training:
A large learning curve for entering into the instrumentation / equipment portion of the medical field is an understatement. The environment, the equipment, the language & terminology, the basics of anatomy and physiology, the nurses, doctors, surgeons and physician assistants and other staff members which are well educated and well versed in their specialties are the professional personnel that you will be working directly with as a representative of our companies and the manufacturers that we work with. This vast amount of knowledge can only be absorbed over time and exposure to all the above. We have manuals to read and most of your training will be on the job and in the field as 95% of or work is performed on-site at the customer location.

Salaries:
$25 to $32,000 - "Starting" Salary
All full time positions are salary
Tools, Test Equipment and Vehicles are Supplied
Overnight Travel is Sometimes Required M-F Only – No Weekends
