job descriptionForklift OperatorRandstad is actively recruiting for talent to become part of an organization located in the Orlando, FL area! We are looking for individuals to fulfill a stand-up forklift operator role. This company is dedicated to hiring the right individuals who are ready to grow with them and learn new skills throughout their career. If you have experience within the warehouse industry, using a forklift and have computer knowledge of shipping systems then please view the rest of this posting and hit APPLY!Responsibilities:Reads pick sheets and travel proper warehouse location using pallet jack; picks proper product type and quantity, labels product and places on pallet and loads pallets on trucks according to proper zone and location, according to established standards. Operates all Company warehouse equipment (E.G. forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners) in a safe manner.Completes all paperwork and utilizes wearable computer to properly track time spent on assignments for productivity reporting.Working hours: 4:00 PM - 1:00 AMSkills:
Able to operate powered equipment such as stand up forklift and/or cherry picker,scanner basic math functions
Knowledge of: safety and safe lifting procedures,
Knows typical shipping and receiving procedures and can handle some exceptions
Education:High SchoolExperience:Entry LevelQualifications:
Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Requires at least 1 year related experience
Prefer forklift certification
Requires basic reading, writing and numerical ability
Valid drivers license with good driving record may be required
Effective verbal communication skills
Able to lift up to 50 pounds
