Link Solutions is seeking Information Security Specialists (Intermediate/Senior) to join our team in Orlando, FL.U.S. Citizen onlyActive DoW Secret Clearance requiredDoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification or higher is requiredNon-remote (relocation incentive available)The Information Security Specialist will support the Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) headquarters and be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Government information systems supporting mission-critical operations.This role works closely with cybersecurity, engineering, systems administration, and operations teams to implement and maintain security controls, ensure regulatory compliance, manage risk, and support accreditation efforts across enterprise environments.The Information Security Specialist will be responsible for administering and supporting cybersecurity programs, Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities, vulnerability management initiatives, and information assurance requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience with DoD cybersecurity policies, NIST standards, accreditation processes, and enterprise security technologies. The successful candidate will help protect critical Government systems while supporting continuous monitoring, compliance initiatives, and mission readiness.Job Responsibilities:Develop, maintain, and enforce information security policies, standards, and procedures.Ensure organizational compliance with applicable cybersecurity regulations, directives, and security requirements.Provide Risk Management Framework (RMF), certification, accreditation, and cybersecurity policy support for Government information systems.Participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of Information Assurance (IA) and cybersecurity program plans.Develop procedures to ensure users understand and acknowledge cybersecurity responsibilities before receiving system access.Conduct security assessments and provide analytical support to identify potential risks, vulnerabilities, and violations.Support system authorization and accreditation efforts in accordance with DoD cybersecurity requirements.Ensure cybersecurity requirements are integrated into Continuity of Operations Plans (COOP) and contingency planning activities.Ensure cybersecurity requirements are appropriately incorporated into operational procedures and technical documentation.Collect, maintain, and report data required for cybersecurity compliance and reporting requirements.Ensure personnel records, assignment orders, user agreements, and privileged access documentation are properly maintained within applicable Army and DoD tracking systems.Work closely with system owners and administrators to identify, track, and remediate vulnerabilities, IAVMs, and ICVMs.Develop, track, and manage Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) in accordance with DoD guidance and timelines.Support continuous monitoring activities, security audits, inspections, and compliance assessments.Collaborate with cybersecurity, engineering, and operational teams to improve security posture and support mission objectives.Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
