Hard Rock Live is a concert theater and event production venue and seeks an Artist Relations Manager to support concerts and live events. Our full scope of services includes comprehensive hospitality for live entertainment, touring acts, local bands, corporate events, awards shows, DJ parties, and various bookings within the venue. This position is based in Orlando and is a full-time salary position. Nights, holidays, weekdays and weekends are required, and candidates should expect a variable schedule based on show needs. Professional client interaction and experience is required. A pleasant, outgoing personality, industry experience and knowledge of event logistics are required. Candidate must have extensive experience with Meet and Greets, VIP accommodations, catering, artist transportation and general industry standards as it pertains to artist relations and hospitality. DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCEThe ideal candidate will possess knowledge of event and concert hospitality, as well as team leadership skills and executable operations that are required to bring various productions to life. Must exercise strong organizational and management skills and the ability to communicate and motivate people of different roles. The ability to work in a high-pressure environment with increasing stress levels while filling artist needs per the rider in a timely manner and within budget are of the utmost importance.Additionally, candidate should be able to assist when needed in the following areas: Coordination of the logistics for Load-ins, performances and Load-outs, communicating with Artists, Producers, Directors, Tour management and department heads to make sure production needs are met. Candidate must also be able to successfully interact with clients, staff and labor on site, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times. Candidate must have a portfolio of previous events, with at least 3 years of professional Artist Relations experience and 3 positive references. Ability to ensure the proper and safe loading and unloading, setup, operation, and teardown of event equipment is required. Individual must possess exceptional customer service skills and a high teamwork ethic. This is not an entry level position, and those without the required experience will not be considered.CORE RESPONSIBILITIESLead a team of artist relations staff, directing the day-to-day execution of the event taking place; from load in, through completion of load out, as it pertains to Meet and Greets, VIP accommodations, catering, wardrobe, artist transportation and general needs associated with artist relations and hospitality. Schedule and manage artist relations staff (Runners, Rider/ Greenroom staff) within the company’s required timeline utilizing Hot Schedules.

Maintain an appropriate and professional working relationship with all hourly staff at all times.

Supervise artist relations staff and client requirements.

Responsible for hiring, training, and scheduling of artist relations staff.

Enforce all SOP’s for artist relations staff including the company’s cash handling policies, health and safety protocols and appropriate uniform attire.

Must possess a thorough understanding of various live events and productions including live entertainment, touring acts, local bands, corporate events, awards shows, DJ parties, and various other events.

Assist venue Production Manager with advancing artist catering/ hospitality, transportation needs, merchandise, rider requirements, VIP programs, wardrobe, drive ons and other event production per the direction of the Director of Entertainment and Sales Team.

Communicate, arrange and schedule all artist relations show details to the appropriate staff to ensure flawless execution (advance and day of show rider shops, runner vehicles, required rentals, etc.)

Advance and oversee on-site operations of artist VIP and Meet & Greet programs.

Advance and oversee all artist merchandise operations and merchandise settlement inclusive of tracking and collecting post show outstanding balances.

Communicate with vendors to facilitate any required rentals/ purchases/ payments per approved request by Director of Entertainment, Production Manager and Sales Team.

Assist in creation of event related documentation at the direction of the Director of Entertainment and Production Manager in a timely manner (to include but not limited to Purchase orders, Check requests, show settlement invoices, rental quotes/estimates, other talent/production related documentation.)

Utilize advance information to best mitigate foreseeable situations and best ensure a smooth day for all involved in the execution of the production.

Multi-task and manage multiple priorities and deadlines throughout the production process.

Communicate production needs quickly, safely, professionally, and efficiently to the HRL team and client as they present themselves throughout the day.

Work long hours while maintaining a professional demeanor in a dynamic yet exciting environment.

Lifting and physical work are required.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS3 – 5 years artist relations experience in the live music and corporate events industry.

Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel), internet searches and basic computer skills.

Must be available to work 100-175 shows from load in to load out and office. hours/ meetings/conference calls, as needed.
