JOB SUMMARY: Manage the IT Governance and Information Security (Gov & InfoSec) functions and processes for Universal Parks and Resort (UPR) in support of Universal’s new park construction. Responsible for various compliance, cybersecurity, and business continuity initiatives, including: development of concepts into implementation plans; monitoring, analysis and execution of compliance and business continuity projects based on requirements including PCI, HIPAA, SOX, and Red Flag; and implementation and oversight of change management and release processes.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee on-site Gov & InfoSec support to Universal’s new park construction.

Manage the Universal Parks Technology (UPT) change and release management processes for Universal’s new park in coordination with UPR.

Work with all UPT Managers and Senior Managers to manage off-cycle requests; and ensure that stability, audit, and regulatory requirements are met. Ensure effective communications with UPR.

Manage the UPT Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity standards program and annual compliance audits for Universal’s new park construction.

Work closely with the multiple divisions outside of UPT to ensure SOX, PCI and Internal Controls compliance.

Manage Security and Compliance Awareness Training program to meet Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard requirements.

SCOPE: Responsible for IT Governance & Information Security for Universal’s new park construction. This includes supporting the UPT Gov & InfoSec team for UPR-wide initiatives.EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree is required - Computer Sciences, Information Systems, or Cybersecurity preferred; Master’s degree is preferred; Applicable work experience could be considered in lieu of BS degree.EXPERIENCE:

Extensive experience in a technical work area (Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, DevSecOps, Infrastructure, Networking, Cyber Security, Architecture).

At least 5 years in a Compliance role that includes overseeing IT Compliance efforts, implementing new processes/standards, project management, and internal/external audit support preferred.

Experience with hardware/software compliance lifecycle including regulations such as PCI, HIPAA, SOX etc.; ITIL Foundations preferred.

IT Business Continuity planning experience preferred, especially IT Disaster Recovery planning.

Working understanding of current national and international privacy requirements preferred.

Working understanding of IT system platforms.

Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard experience is preferred.

Extensive knowledge and experience working with applicable data security, compliance and privacy legal and regulatory frameworks preferred.

Overtime hours may be required to meet project deadlines.

Broad knowledge of IT systems, processes, and operations

Flexible and adaptable in regards to learning and understanding new technologies

Strong written, oral communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization

Highly self-motivated and directed

IT Project Management proficiency

Keen attention to detail

Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Ability to conduct research into technology products.
