Myers, and Tallahassee.POSITION SUMMARY: Within a division, the Operations Supervisor is responsible for supervising the valet trash collection activities in one or more geographically dispersed areas. The Operations Supervisor oversees operators and runners and works with the Director of Operations to implement tactical initiatives to drive functional excellence and budget achievement. The Operations Supervisor ensures adherence to all accident prevention programs and leads operations to ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, operating, regulatory, accounting, ethics and other standards. Responsibilities include the execution and delivery of Safety, Customer Experience, and Efficiency while supporting a culture of employee engagement.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Safety

Understands and provides leadership to achieve and communicate safety goals and objectives.

Works to remove unsafe conditions or situations from the customer’s complexes.

Works with the sales team to identify and eliminate any unsafe conditions in a new complex or for new customers.

Oversees effective safety and accident prevention programs to ensure all reasonable actions are taken to prevent accidents and injuries; ensures a safe and productive work environment for all employees; implements and maintains an effective loss control and safety program.

Engages assigned employees in active participation to instill a culture of safety by demonstration of a personal commitment to safe operations and active personal outreach to operational employees.

Customer Experience

Provides service to all customers that meets or exceeds customer expectations with regard to the entire customer experience.

Understands missed pickup goals and meets or exceeds expectations related to those goals.

Resolves unusual service requests, equipment breakdowns and schedule changes with timely communications to all stakeholders.

Interacts with customers to solve and rectify any issues and improve the overall customer experience.

Serves as a positive representative of the Company to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty to the Company.

Efficiency

Establishes productivity goals where needed; ensures adherence to operating standards; and manages labor hours and operational expenses per established and agreed plans.

Leads drivers to exceed productivity goals and expectations for all services.

Executes other operational plans to help achieve or exceed the division’s budgeted goals.

Understands, supports and executes service delivery with a willingness to lead by example at every level of responsibility.

Employee Engagement

Creates a collaborative, communicative team environment and drives engagement with the Company.

Builds and develops talent on the team, understanding employee’ goals and provide coaching where appropriate.

Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or G.E.D.

Participation in the Company’s management trainee program.

Previous experience in a service-related industry.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of 1 year of lead or supervisory experience. Valid driver’s license.
