Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking a Procurement Subcontract Manager for a position in Orlando, FL to oversee Subcontract / Purchase Order placement and administration within the Air Dominance programs area. Responsible for the management of supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on a critical, high-risk, complex cost-reimbursable subcontract in support of a DoD prime contract. Work is performed without appreciable direction. Effects of decisions are long lasting and heavily influence future course of organization.Duties include:Prepares bid packages.Analyzes and evaluates proposals.Selects or recommends subcontractors.Performs price analysis, use of cost evaluations for development of pre-negotiation strategies.Leads negotiations and completion of subcontract / Purchase Order (PO) documentation, invoice reconciliation and payment.Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts.Interfaces with government clients, technical personnel and other functional organizations both within Lockheed Martin and within assigned supplier's organization.Holds procurement delegation and signs supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.Leads multifunctional subcontract management teams (SMT) to manage overall performance of assigned suppliers - to include technical, cost, schedule and contract performance.Leads team to develop solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of innovation and follow through.Works with program management and other areas of the business for timely conclusion of contract matters and resolution of issues.This position will require travel.Basic Qualifications:Must have a current DoD Secret clearanceExperience with the procurement of specialized materials, complex assemblies, and equipment within Defense or Aerospace industriesThorough knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures such as Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP), with associated knowledge of FAR / DFAR requirementsStrong demonstrated negotiation skillsWorking knowledge of standard contract typesProficient computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPointExperience with SAP based procurement systemTeam oriented with demonstrated organizational skillsStrong interpersonal skills and Demonstrated communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)Ability to interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters which often requires coordination between functional organizationsDemonstrated problem solving skillsBusiness acumen and ability to make business-based decisionsSelf-motivated, ownership of tasks and accountableAble to work independently and in a team environmentDemonstrated ability to lead a teamAble to work with all levels of managementAble to travelDesired Skills:Proficiency in Procure to Pay P2P (SAP) procurement systemsCross-functional knowledge of Supplier Quality and Engineering as they relate to subcontract managementIPT / SMT leadership experienceLeadership skills displaying attributes of Full Spectrum Leadership including (1) Deliver Results, (2) Shape the Future, (3) Build Effective Relationships, (4) Energize the Team and (5) Model Personal Excellence, Integrity and AccountabilityGreen Belt certifiedDoD background investigation completed within the past five years.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
