JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for overall operation of Food Services Division. During Resort Development: This position will also be responsible for the operational programming and interfacing with the design and construction teams providing input and direction to ensure prescribed resort foods program is delivered in the finished product. This will include interfacing with all relevant departments providing development functions within Universal Parks & Resorts and project.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Overall responsibility for the daily operation of the business through divisional senior management team with a focus on staffing, revenue and margin generation, controls and performance. Responsible for the overall guest and Team Member experience, communication of goals and expectations, and ensuring operating and safety standards are maintained. Interact with Team Members, guests and key partners, monitor equipment and infrastructure needs, generate growth and efficiency objectives and plans. Responsible for adherence and interaction with applicable regulatory agencies and requirements.

During Resort Development: Contribute to overall food services program and develop all facets of the business.

Develop and drive planning of new business opportunities, focusing on trends and changes in the market. Identify and develop 3rd party concessionaire opportunities, where applicable. Direct budgeting process and daily management of budgets, analyzing fluctuations in business units and instituting changes/enhancements as necessary.

During Resort Development: Lead market research with Food Service team and other departments to understand the local market and culture. Ensure that menu offerings will be acceptable to guests in addition to meeting financial goals.

Drive the development of management team through continuous training and role modeling. Partner with all Universal Beijing Resort divisions to create synergies that drive overall company goals and increased revenues. Achieve Team Member Satisfaction (TSAT) goals and objectives. Develop TSAT action plans.

During Resort Development: Interview and identify key leadership staff to lead various functions within the Food Services Division.

Partner with key departments to achieve goals and objectives: Marketing & Sales, Staffing, Talent Development, Human Resources, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Tech Services, Visual, Security/Loss Prevention, Park Operations, EHS, and Entertainment, Strategic planning, financial analysis and planning, budgets, inventory control, sanitation and safety, training & development, staffing, employee relations, Capital planning, project work, event planning and HRP planning.

During Resort Development: Provide insight for the development of the Food Services and Park Wide training programs including requirements for food operators by any appropriate government Agencies.

Monitor and ensure that all food service facilities meet or exceed all health, safety and sanitation standards. EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university in Business.EXPERIENCE: 15 Years plus operational management experience at a Director Level in a Food Services or Revenue Operations division.
