Job Description:
Summary
Job purpose of Hotel maintenance for common areas, meeting spaces, restaurant, bar, fitness center, pool areas and hotel guestroom preventive maintenance and assists in the repairs and maintenance of hotel equipment including mechanical equipment such as pumps and motors
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Respond to all guest's requests in a timely and efficient manner
Respond or perform duties of a groundskeeper
Complete work order request in a timely manner
Maintain all mechanical areas in an orderly and clean condition
Inspect public areas daily for any issues
After hours on-call availability if any issue arises, available on weekends and holidays.
Providing maintenance repairs to guestrooms, public areas and administrative offices
Repairs may include plumbing, kitchen, mechanical, laundry, electrical, cooling, ventilation, furnishing and fixtures, painting, wall cover repairs, light carpentry, door and windows repairs
Maintain the Rooms Preventive Maintenance Program and consistently keep updated records on file

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of three-year working as a hotel maintenance experience.
Language Skills
Ability to speak and read in English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Spanish is a plus
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.Works independently or as a part of a team, including ability to interact appropriately with others.Works with supervision, receiving instructions/feedback, coaching/counseling and/or discipline.Works well in stressful, high-pressure situations.Is effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying issues raised by coworkers and guests.
Computer Skills
Able to use telephone, computer ( Outlook, Word, Excel), calculator, and other office equipment's.
