Master Association Property Management Office is looking to secure a First Class bookkeeper or Accountant to handle rent deposits, homeowner direct deposits, QuickBooks journals and accounts, Appfolio transactions and all company expenses. All AR/AP and deposits. Knowledge of property management software such as AppFolio is required.

Candidate must have ability to interpret financial data and keep impeccable records.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience with QuickBooks and accounting strategies. Position requires strong communication skills, ability to handle difficult situations with a positive attitude, and meticulous attention to detail.

Various Other Bookkeeping and Accounting Duties including, but not limited to:

Performs bookkeeping for multiple accounts for financial transactions by utilizing a chart of accounts; following any and all bookkeeping policies and procedures

Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions

Maintains general ledgers by transferring subsidiary account summaries

Maintains historical records by filing documents in a detailed manor

Prepares financial reports for owners and partners as requested

Contributes to team effort by assisting with various office tasks as needed

Prepares bank deposits and inter-account bank transfers

Receives and renews incoming invoices and prepares and mails payment checks, coding invoices accurately to the General Ledger, and keeping payables up to date

Assist GM by preparing monthly financial reporting for board meetings.

Reconciles books to Bank and Credit Card statements.

Position can begin immediately. Pay commensurate with experience. 40 hours per week.

Background checks and reference checks will take place after phone interviews but before in person interviews.
