We encourage veterans to apply!JOB SUMMARY GeoWireless is currently in search of a IA support to ensure compliance with DoD, Department of the Navy (DoN) and Naval Sea Systems Command NAVSEA) IA policies including compliance with the Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP).RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide IA support to ensure compliance with DoD, Department of the Navy (DoN) and Naval Sea Systems Command NAVSEA) IA policies including compliance with the Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP). The Contractor shall be familiar with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) standards as they apply to IA, and as DoD evolves the certification and accreditation process to align with NIST standardsMonitor and track that users and system support personnel have the required security clearances, authorization, and need to know that is verified with the COR, and are indoctrinated on organizational security practices before being granted access to information systemsDevelop and provide technical training for IAOs and system administrators to ensure that they are aware of and follow information system policies and procedures. Technically support developing and providing Annual IA Refresher Training for all information system usersPrepares, maintains, or reviews C&A packages in accordance with the DIACAP. Prepare C&A review reports for the Government IAM prior to submission to the Designated Approval Authority (DAA). Technically support IAOs and system administrators in the preparation of DIACAP packagesMaintains the activity accreditation schedule and the site repository for all system certification and accreditation documentation. Responds to Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) and NAVSEA data calls and provides monthly metrics pertaining to C&A status for all pertinent systems at NSWC PCDSupport the completion of Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) and documentation required to certify to the Navy DAA that security requirements are met for information systems seeking accreditation under DIACAPTechnically support Government IA personnel in ensuring compliance with the DoD, DoN, and NAVSEA IAVA Management Program by provided compliance due date. Serve as the backup POC for reporting IAVAs in the Navy Online Compliance Reporting System (NOCRS). Interface with IAOs and system administrators to ensure timely compliance with requirements of the systemREQUIRED EXPERIENCE:Six years of experience in the following:Performing onsite CT&Es and/or ST&Es using DoD and Military specific standards. Demonstrable Experience in developing C&A packages using DIACAP methodology.Knowledge of DoD IA scanning toolsExcellent presentation and public speaking skillsFamiliarity of Linux, UNIX, and Windows Operating Systems administrationKnowledge of network devices and interconnection (i.e., routers, switches, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and DNS)Ability to effectively communicate verbally and via written correspondence.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:High School Graduate & 3+ years DIACAP package experienceCERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: DoD 8570.01-M Baseline IA certification and IT certifications, or Navy approved IT training, for IAM-1 or IAM-2 and IAT-2 and IT Level I designation. Current Navy approved Operating Systems Certifications for workstation and server, working knowledge of VmWare 4.0 or higher, proficient in MS Office Suite (specifically Outlook, Word and Excel), working knowledge of Adobe Pro, and must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbsCompensation commensurate with experience and certifications.
