Female only position to provide daily supports and companionship
Duties include:
preparing simple meals;
assist with daily adult living skills; and,
have clear driving record to drive to a few doctor appointments.
Mom lives with her daughter and son-in law. She is very independent and can do most of her skills with some verbal prompts and supports. She is mobile but needs assistance on uneven surfaces at times. Mom is a smoker and will want someone to sit outside on patio with her throughout the day. She is able to voice and share her own wants and choices. She enjoys doing puzzles and staying active. Once COVID is under control, she will want to go into the community to play bingo, shop, and eat. Her daughter is in charge of daily routines and any necessary schedule changes.
Pay is $10.50-$11.50 hourly, based on experience and flexibility. 30+ hours a week. Paid bi-weekly.
Typical schedule is 4 days for 6 hours (11 am-5 pm) and one day with a late night (11 am-9 pm) for her daughter and son-in law to have their date night. Sunday and Wednesdays are the typical days off. Flexible weekday off.
You must have clear background and at least two current references.
