VETERINARY TECHNICIAN / RECEPTIONIST
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Pet Health Center in Lynn Haven is looking for a Part-Time Veterinary Technician / Receptionist to join our team.
Technicians will be responsible for all aspects of client and patient care beginning with excellent front desk and client service skills; excellent communication, phone and computer skill, appointment booking and client education; assisting Doctors with the care of animals; animal restraint; running in-house labs; blood sample collection; radio-graphs, monitoring and assisting in surgery, dental cleanings;, radiology, maintaining the cleanliness of the hospital, nail trims; filling medications, client education and customer service.
Qualified candidate must have the ability to work with animals and people, must be willing to work hard, be efficient, prompt, and reliable. Requires the ability to multi-task; demonstrate organizational ability, problem solving ability, client service skills; operate well under pressure and above all be a team player.
JOB Requirements: High school diploma, Prior Veterinary experience and prior experience with Avimark software preferred but not required; Able to lift and move 40 lbs.
We are a Drug-Free Workplace and drug testing may be performed upon hire and at random throughout employment.
Job Type Part-Time, + or 30 Hours per week
