CNC/Manual- Lathe and/or Mill Machinist
CNC LATHE OR MILL MACHINIST MUST BE ABLE TO FULLY PROGRAM AND USE CAD/CAM SOFTWARE.
MANUAL MACHINIST MUST BE ABLE TO USE LATHES AND MILLS EFFICIENTLY.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Machining and fabricating custom machine parts.
Maintaining production efficiency levels.
Maintaining a clean and efficient work environment.
Maintain high safety standards.
Independently read and interpret CAD drawings, planning sheets, sketches and related technical data to determine tooling requirements, setup procedures, control settings and machining methods and sequences.
Able to verify fixture setups, load control media and operate machine manually to perform non-automated functions.
Operate machine and monitor displays and machine operation to detect malfunctions
Install, align, and secure tooling, attachments, and parts on machines
Assemble cutting tools in tool holders and position tool holders in machine magazines
Enter commands manually to perform non-automated functions
Perform dimensional inspection of various products
AUTHORITY AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Keeping current on daily / weekly tasks as assigned by Production Manager.

Attendance.
Quality of workmanship.
Ability to take direction.
Ability to learn new skills.
Weekly output.
