MUST HAVE TRANSPORTATION AND A CELLULAR DEVICE
Our company, A-Team movers is currently hiring experienced full time and part-time movers. As a professional mover and delivery guys , you will be assembling packing and moving customers' household or office belongings. Moves range from just a single item to an entire home or office. Items to be moved can often weigh several hundred pounds (i.e. mattresses, cabinet, dressers, etc). Moves involving stairways are quite common. The workday can be long (a seven-hour day or longer is not unusual).
Must be able to drive a box truck
Tasks include:
Carrying heavy items long distances and up/down stairways.
Manually hoisting heavy items.
Wrapping furniture and equipment.
Box-pack items such as breakables, books, artwork, knick-knacks.
Working with moving equipment and tools.
Disassembling and reassembling furniture and equipment.
Providing quality, customer service at all times.
Qualifications:
Must have fitness skills, be mechanically-inclined, and have above average stamina for physical labor and can lift 75lbs on a regular basis. Strong communication and teamwork skills needed. New employees will be given an orientation to the moving industry along with hands-on training. Reliable transportation is required.
