Systems Analyst as well as a Programmer Analyst that will be responsible for provisioning, programming, report writing and support of Loft and GERS application systems. Resources will assist in development and enhancement of internal systems projects and will be accountable for reporting and operational enhancements within the AIX, Linux, and Windows applications. Key Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Engineering and development solutions for various project and operational needs.
Create enterprise reports based upon departmental needs using multiple methodologies including SQL, Crystal Reports, Pentaho DI, Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL, PYTHON, HTML5.
Perform operations monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all reports , server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application processes, and verifying completion and accuracy of reporting.
Update internal report servers and webservers.
Define and enhance internal processes through the use of data mining, database changes and SQL queries.
Interpret and/or discuss information with others, which involves terminology or concepts not familiar to many people; regularly provide advice and recommend actions involving rather complex issues. Resolve problems within established practices.
Assist Management in implementation and development of companywide initiatives through Hands-on development and integration.
Assist Management with hardware, software and related systems when necessary.
Required Skills
Four to six year’s system analysis experience.
Bachelor (4-year) degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science.
SQL Server, Oracle, Crystal Reporting, Pentaho DI, Microsoft SQL, Postgres, PYTHON, HTML5 or similar experience
VB.ASP experience preferred but not required
Flexibility to sometimes require working evenings and weekends, sometimes with little advanced notice to address unexpected issues if/when they arise.
