INSIDE SALES / CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSOCIATE

The Position: We’re looking for an Inside Sales/Customer Service Associate. The hours we are looking to fill is Monday – Thursday, 11am – 4pm (20 hours per week).

The Pay: The pay we’re offering is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour.

Requirements: A qualified candidate will be experienced in the following skills:

• Quickbooks accounting software.

• Microsoft Word and Excel, including using calculating formulas in spreadsheets.

• Understand the purpose of invoices and purchase orders.

• Basic math/use of calculator.

• Filing.

• Answering phones.

Additionally, a qualified candidate will:

• Have a pleasant phone voice.

• Be confident.

• Have good organizational skills.

• Be prompt and focused.

• Have initiative.

• Be able to critically think and have good problem solving skills.

• Be a good listener and learner.

• Be able to work independently with oversight.

Responsibilities:

• Answer phones.

• Provide customer service to potential and current clients, including answering questions about products and order status.

• Create invoices and process credit card and e-check payments using Quickbooks accounting software and a web-based e-commerce shopping cart admin program.

• Email order and shipping confirmations to clients.

• Create purchase orders using Quickbooks software.

• Troubleshoot orders, payments and deliveries.

• Create weekly sales reports using Microsoft Excel.

• Manage orders using Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.

• Follow up order by emailing or calling customers to ensure satisfaction.

Additional, optional responsibilities resulting in a paid bonus or commission(s):

• Cold calling potential clients.

• Following up on “dropped cart” orders.

Employee Regulations: The following are some standards of the position.

• Non-smoker is preferred.

• No smoking or vapeing in the building.

• Breaks will be limited to two fifteen minute breaks (the breaks can be broken into six (6) five minutes breaks per hour worked)

• Business casual attire. No shorts, no sweats, no t-shirts, no tank-tops, no flip flops, jeans allowed (no tears, rips, stains or extreme fading), skirts, dress slacks, polo shirts or button down shirts or blouses preferred, loafers or dress shoes preferred, sneakers are up for discussion.

Amenities provided include:

• K-cup coffee maker and coffee (you may also provide your own K-cups).

• Hot/Cold spring water dispenser.

• Tea.

• No refrigerator is provided.

Perks of the position:

• Five paid vacation days every twelve month period after 6 six months of employment.

• After sixty-six months of employment, ten paid vacation days will be provided.

• Performance based bonuses.

• Sales commission incentives offered.
