Hawthorne Health and Rehab of Sarasota, a skilled rehab and nursing facility located in Sarasota FL, is expanding our staff and therefore is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for all shifts (day, evening and nights and weekends) to provide various resident care activities and related duties for the specific needs and comfort of residents as identified through resident assessment and described in the plan of care.

Shifts Available Include: 7-3, 3-11, 11-7 & Baylor
Qualifications:
Education:
- Nurse Aide Certification by the State
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
Experience:
- Experience/ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public. Prior health care experience preferred.
Requirements:
- Must meet mandatory in-service hours by attending in-services provided by the facility
- Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language
- Timber Ridge's Certified Nursing Assistants are responsible for actively demonstrating Timber Ridge’s PRIDE of professionalism, responsibility, integrity, dedicated service, and excellence
- Must be listed on the Florida State Registry. Certification must be active, and not expired or lapsed and there must be zero findings on the registry listed against them
- Must be able to work as a team member
- Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data
- Must be caring, kind and patient with a positive attitude
Duties Include but are not limited to:
- Observing Residents
- Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse
- Taking care of a Resident's personal hygiene
- Setting up of meal trays and documenting food/fluid intake
- Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements
- Making beds & keeping the Residents' space clean and tidy
- Transporting Residents within the Facility
- Turning and positioning residents
