GENERAL SUMMARY: Medical office seeking PT account representative. Previous experience with insurance billing is favorable. Send resume to jobs@fcoa and reference Sarasota.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Process adjustment requests
Insurance claim filing requests
Ensure all inventories reconcile
Obtain correspondence as needed COAs, EOBs, etc.
Bankruptcy documentation
Settlement approval and write offs
Payment research and account reconciliation
Close and return account individual and list processing
Payment plan setup and notification
File processing
Submit credit card payments as needed
Communicate any changes in vendor process that may affect vendor or facility
Additional business office requests as needed for project processing.

Communication communicates clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing
Interpersonal skills ability to work effectively with co-workers, guarantors and external parties
PC skills demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and others software as required
EDUCATION
High school diploma or GED required
EXPERIENCE
At least one-year experience required, preferably in a collections environment
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports. Requires lifting papers or boxes up to 50 pounds occasionally. Work is performed in an office environment. Work may be stressful at times.
