Job Overview:
The Irrigation Technician assists with the care and repair of the irrigation system.
Your Responsibilities:
Responsible for the watering of lawns and shrubs.
Digs trenches for irrigation repair work
Assist in keeping the job site tidy, organized and safe
Use all installation tools according to company safety policy
Maintains, cleans and properly stores equipment.
Ability to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment.
Other duties as required.
Skills & Qualifications:
Previous experience preferred
Must comply with OSHA and EPA guidelines concerning storage and use of chemical substances
Valid Driver's License required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 50 – 100 lbs. following appropriate safety procedures
Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time
Be able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time
Ability to work in different environmental working conditions (e.g. heat, cold, wind, rain, humidity)
Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks
Repeat various motions with the wrists, hands and fingers
Have full range of mobility in upper and lower body
Schedule: Monday - Friday

Compensation: $20.00 - $24.00 an hour
