Applicants Are Required to Have the Physical Ability, Endurance and Desire to Perform the Potentially Strenuous Outdoor Work at All Times of the Day and Night and Under Various Weather Conditions.
Applicants Must Be Self-Motivated, Work Well with Others, have a Positive Attitude and Be Committed to Working Safely and Productively.
Applicants Will Be Expected to Respond to Emergency Restoration Call Outs After Normal Work Hours and Weekends within an Hour Response Time.
Applicants Are Required to Have a Class "A" or "B" Commercial Driver's License. Applicants who Currently Are Not in Possession of a CDL Must Obtain One within 6 Months of Being Hired. We Will Hire You with A Valid Non-CDL Driver's License to Start.
Applicants Must Be Experienced in The Safe Operation of Bucket Trucks, Digger-Derricks, Crane / Boom Trucks, Excavators, Cable Pulling Trucks and Forklifts.
Once Employed:
Newly Hired Employees Have a 90 Day Probationary Period and After Successful Completion and Review, Will Be Entitled to a Full Comprehensive Insurance Plan Through Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Vision Plan and Dental Plan and Wage Increase.
UUSI Will Offer to Train Individuals Who Are Not Journeyman Lineman Status but Seek the Desire to Become One. UUSI Has Partnered with ABC Inc. and Offers a Three Year Lineman Apprenticeship Program Along with On the Job Training. After Successful Completion You Will Receive a Diploma and Florida State Certified Journeyman Ticket.
