Full-time Opening for a Lot Porter to join our elite new car department at Sunset Dodge-Chrysler-Jeep and Sunset Subaru in Sarasota, FL!
Our valuable lot porters provide the support necessary to run a busy, new car dealership - keeping new and used car inventory on our sales lots stocked, fresh, and full. Must have availability Mon - Sat, 9am to 6pm.
Lot Porter-Attendant Duties
As a porter for Sunset Auto Mall, you will be busy transporting vehicles between our several storage lots and the dealership. Other duties range from checking in vehicles from carrier trucks to restocking supplies and everything in between. Much of the work is performed outside on our sales lot or driving. Duties may include:
Keep new and used cars lined up in the sales lot
Take delivery of new vehicles from transport trucks
Check vehicles in the lot for tags, emblems stickers
Monitor outside of dealership (lot and patio areas, etc.)
Attend all scheduled shifts on time
Other duties assigned to assist in the operation of the dealership
Lot Attendant-Porter Requirements
Lot porters at Sunset Auto Mall must be dependable, have excellent driving skills, and a desire to do what is necessary to keep things running. Other requirements include:
Candidate must have a valid driver's license and verifiable work history
Physical ability to work outside most of the day including extensive walking between dealership buildings
Previous dealer experience a plus
Ability to juggle multiple demands from various sales departments
Must pass background screen and drug test, Drug Free Workplace
